The emphasis on clinical competency by training programs that primarily seek to prepare its graduates for service delivery is particularly appropriate. The complete core curriculum in professional psychology was described by Peterson et al. (1991) reported on the National Council of Schools and Programs of Professional Psychology educational model which contains the following six facets:
(1) Relationship,
(2) assessment,
(3) intervention,
(4) consultation and education,
(5) management and supervision, &
(6) research and evaluation.
